Everything has a purpose, from the zipper to the way the fabric is stitched. 

CANIS describes themselves as a “a lifestyle for those who dare to push the envelope” and their hunters as “hardcore.” The CANIS hunter is a “special breed who constantly push themselves and their gear to the max.” This is evident in the type of hunting trips CANIS customers and the CANIS team regularly go on. Safaris in Africa, rural backcountry trips in places like Kyrgyzstan, Texas, and Russia to name a few.

The Challenge

The people who CANIS really appeals to don’t mind paying a premium for their hunting gear. Many hunters buy their gear in kits, meaning they buy the shirt, pants, outerwear, etc. all at the same time and it’s beneficial for all the gear you wear to be matching camo. There’s several challenges in that. One is the price point that buying all that gear will come in at. Another challenge is getting hunters to abandon their hunting gear they’ve been loyal to for years and trying something completely new.
